CAR NEWS - Jan 2007 Fiat Launches New Car - Fiat Bravo to Boost Market Share Fiat is about to launch the new Bravo in an effort to climb from a disappointing 15th ranking in Europe. It has been selling only 1.6% of new cars sold in Europe but hopes to build on optimism gained during the latter part of 2006 which led to increases in its share price.
The new Fiat Bravo is being made in Germany at the Fiat Style Centre. Models include diesel and petrol engines. It will be launched in Rome on 31st January.

Fiat is best known for its small cars. The Bravo falls within the compact car group where its former model the Stilo was not a runaway success. Fiat hopes to sell a modest 120,000 cars in its first year. Compare this with the missed target of 350,000 sales for the Stilo.
