Controversial Top Gear TV host Jeremy Clarkson has slated the new Perodua Kelisa from Malaya. He came to his conclusion after driving one for 30 minutes and denounced it in no uncertain terms.

He called the new car a "piece of junk", attacked it with a sledgehammer, hung it up, and then blew it up! He thought that the car's name was more appropriate for a disease.

He went on to say that the makers built the model in a jungle clearing using people who go to work in shoes made from leaves. Naturally, the Malaysians are not pleased by Clarkson's reported comments. They feel that he is just being controversial for his own ends.
